The location of this hotel right next to the open air market and close to Marienplatz was excellent. It was easy to walk to many points of interest or take a train. The room was spacious compared to other hotels in Germany and the bathroom and shower area had plenty of shelving for personal items. The windows could be opened as needed, however the street below and the various church bells can be noisy. We chose to always close the windows at night which made the room much more quiet. The breakfast was very good, more than one can eat. The staff at the front desk were friendly, kind and helpful with a good command of English. The suggested parking garage is about 4 long blocks away so bringing in your luggage on the first day is complicated. The parking pricing with hotel validation was reasonable. We will not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed in a single room. The photos provided by the hotel on Booking.com matched the toom exactly. Confortable bed, warm and cosy room. Bathroom was spacious with a very good shower. Soft white towels changed daily. Very clean. Excellent location, a couple of minutes walk to Mariemplatz. and right on the doorstep of the Viktualienmarkt .

This was our second time staying at this property and it won't be the last. The location in the center of the Viktualienmarkt is amazing and the rooms are very comfortable. Some of the softest towels we have ever used in a hotel and very nice beds. It can be a bit loud in the am with the trash trucks and deliveries but with the windows closed it's fairly quiet. It was amazing to be able to eat and drink from all the different vendors and then have the luxury of a clean bathroom back in our room just steps away. Located around the corner from the Marienplatz and the U/S bahn lines and there was always a pleasant and helpful person at the front desk.

Fantastic central location and great value for money overall. Friendly and helpful staff, good sized room and bathroom. Very clean and modern, with nice views of the city. Great sound proofing too, we only heard some noise from the street cleaning machines and church bells but that's what you get for being right in the city centre - it didn't bother us and we slept very well. Big, comfortable bed too. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you're visiting Munich!

This is my third time here. Wonderful place and location! I will let you know I am a single traveler so I only got the small room, infact I have had the same room all three times. Not sure how or why. Love the location, you can't get better in Old Town area. Less than five minute walk to train station, the market is right there, outdoor beer garden and some REALLY good food also. Just a perfect area to be in for Munich.

The location was great - easy walk to all the sights in the old town with the market right outside. Parking in the recommended garage was close enough but expensive (typical given the location). The bathroom seemed newly renovated, and although the sleeping room was small, the bathroom was spacious with an excellent shower. There is an elevator but only really large enough for two people, or one person and two lots of luggage. This wasn't a problem though - we were glad to have it!

It is so close to the Marionplatz and Viktualienmarkt and many shops/ restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel is delicious. Our room was tiny as expected for a big city. The bathroom was pretty big in comparison, but it was all clean and cozy. There's the smallest elevator on earth that fits one person with one suitcase, or 2 people (see picture) but hey... at least there's that! Great water pressure! There's a great coffee spot a couple doors down. Walkable to all Christmas markets!

Location, Location, Location!!! Heart of old town in quiet quaint beautiful market area. Comfortable stay. Comfortable bedding. Large bathrooms. Quiet! Only 3-5 min walk to Marienplatz. 1-2 min walk to taxi stand and a hop on hop off bus stop to see entire city. Great boutique restaurant in lobby for breakfast and dinner. We were able to store luggage at desk until check in time. We will book again for our next stay in Munich.

This hotel is an older hotel but it is kept vey nice. My only complaint is the rooms are very small with no place to really sit. It is also difficult for taxis to find since it is in a pedestrian area. We had a very short walk from where we were dropped off to the hotel so no big deal. It is right in the center of the Victorian Market so at night you can hear the restaurant and beer garden noise. It is extremely close to all attractions in Munich we could walk to everything. It was a perfect stay to see this section of Munich.

Centrally located overlooking the Viktualmarkt, quick walk to Marienplatz/shopping, and a quick walk to conveniently located taxi line to grab a cab to train/airport/other attractions. 15/20 min cab ride from this area to train station, cost approx 15-16 euros plus tip. You can definitely make the walk from hotel to train station but if you have luggage probably best to catch a cab. Cab ride to Munich airport, 30/35 mins approx 95 euros plus tip. Hotel very clean, beds comfortable, room basic size, large bathroom, meets all our needs. Delicious and very filling breakfast not included in room price, 30 euros for 2 people. This is our 2nd stay at this hotel, and we will be back again!
