The location of this hotel right next to the open air market and close to Marienplatz was excellent. It was easy to walk to many points of interest or take a train. The room was spacious compared to other hotels in Germany and the bathroom and shower area had plenty of shelving for personal items. The windows could be opened as needed, however the street below and the various church bells can be noisy. We chose to always close the windows at night which made the room much more quiet. The breakfast was very good, more than one can eat. The staff at the front desk were friendly, kind and helpful with a good command of English. The suggested parking garage is about 4 long blocks away so bringing in your luggage on the first day is complicated. The parking pricing with hotel validation was reasonable. We will not hesitate to stay here again.

Centrally located overlooking the Viktualmarkt, quick walk to Marienplatz/shopping, and a quick walk to conveniently located taxi line to grab a cab to train/airport/other attractions. 15/20 min cab ride from this area to train station, cost approx 15-16 euros plus tip. You can definitely make the walk from hotel to train station but if you have luggage probably best to catch a cab. Cab ride to Munich airport, 30/35 mins approx 95 euros plus tip. Hotel very clean, beds comfortable, room basic size, large bathroom, meets all our needs. Delicious and very filling breakfast not included in room price, 30 euros for 2 people. This is our 2nd stay at this hotel, and we will be back again!

This was our second time staying at this property and it won't be the last. The location in the center of the Viktualienmarkt is amazing and the rooms are very comfortable. Some of the softest towels we have ever used in a hotel and very nice beds. It can be a bit loud in the am with the trash trucks and deliveries but with the windows closed it's fairly quiet. It was amazing to be able to eat and drink from all the different vendors and then have the luxury of a clean bathroom back in our room just steps away. Located around the corner from the Marienplatz and the U/S bahn lines and there was always a pleasant and helpful person at the front desk.

This hotel is an older hotel but it is kept vey nice. My only complaint is the rooms are very small with no place to really sit. It is also difficult for taxis to find since it is in a pedestrian area. We had a very short walk from where we were dropped off to the hotel so no big deal. It is right in the center of the Victorian Market so at night you can hear the restaurant and beer garden noise. It is extremely close to all attractions in Munich we could walk to everything. It was a perfect stay to see this section of Munich.

It is so close to the Marionplatz and Viktualienmarkt and many shops/ restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel is delicious. Our room was tiny as expected for a big city. The bathroom was pretty big in comparison, but it was all clean and cozy. There's the smallest elevator on earth that fits one person with one suitcase, or 2 people (see picture) but hey... at least there's that! Great water pressure! There's a great coffee spot a couple doors down. Walkable to all Christmas markets!
